Leylak stepped back as her legs cramped and stiffened from gluing to one spot. Her heart pumped to a quick pace, loud and echoing in her chest. She limped backwards, falling into the once undisturbed snow. Her wounded open leg pestered by the cold frozen water on the ground. She cringed in pain, refraining herself from making a sound as she got back up with tough effort.  Leylak knew she shouldn't be watching now, even as the last bit of happiness slipped from her life.
